On Water Disposal Problems of Fish Industry

The main water disposal problems of fish industry are described in the paper. One of the problems is fat pollution extraction. The decision of this problem is offered in the paper. Mathematical model of the fat extraction process by the aeration method and optimization of the model are adduced. Treatment efficiency of the ether soluble substances is about 85%.

Application of the nitrification/denitrification method in biological treatment of fish-processing wastewater

The paper contains the scheme of the biological treatment of fish-processing wastewater using the nitrification/denitrification method. The method has been substantiated as the most effective power-saving method of extraction of nitrogen inorganic compounds from the fish-processing wastewater.

On the method of complex processing of chitin-containing raw material

The industrial process of chitin extraction is connected with the formation of specific multicomponent fluid wastes. Physicochemical characteristics of the formed wastewater have been studied in order to develop technology of its purification and utilization of valuable protein components. The optimal conditions for protein extraction by means of precipitation from wastewater using the neutralization method have been analysed.

Non-waste technology of marine Crustacea testa processing

The industrial process of chitin extraction of Crustacea testa is connected with the formation of specific fluid wastes containing a great amount of protein compounds and mineral substances. The opportunity of protein compounds' precipitation out of technological discharges has been studied. The schematic circuit of sewage two-stage treating of chitin production has been proposed.
